As an entrepreneur, Ryan has had founding roles in multiple startups, including his broadcast and consulting business Advantage Weather Solutions, a canoe and kayak livery called Tippy River Adventures, a non-profit – Paddlers 4 Conservation, and is host of the Little Red Barn Podcast, produced weekly from a studio built into his late 1800s era barn.
